Be Our Guest

This Friday, Chef Marvin Woods is cooking lunch at a gourmet event to benefit the Red Cross.  We have two seats at our table to give away. Care to join us?

Woods had his own cooking show, Home Plate on Turner South, and has published two popular cookbooks, The New Low-Country Cooking and Home Plate Cooking. 

He’s also opened a restaurant--Woods on South--in Charlotte.  And thanks to SCE&G, you can watch him cooking with gas in these online videos.

Email me by noon Tuesday (2/5/08) if you’d like to be in on the drawing for a pair of tickets:  send to jenny.maxwell@skirt.com and put “Marvin Would Want ME to Win” in the subject line.  We’ll draw a winner and email you by Tuesday at 5pm if that winner is you.
