Sunshine in the Keys

A few months ago, we profiled Sunshine Smith, a Columbia native who helped Jimmy Buffett launch his Margaritaville businesses.

Here’s what Molly emailed:  I was able to visit with Sunshine this past Saturday. She splits her time between Liberty Hill, SC and Key West.

She is doing fantastic. Still up to painting and eager to share the fact she is taking up a new medium, watercolor. She is painting with an 84 year old artist who resides in Key West. Margaritaville, her store, looks great. Very colorful, like Sunshine's artwork.

Molly’s been on a two-week adventure: 

I had the best time in the Florida Keys. It was my first solo travel ever, and I chose to camp. Lots of biking, walking on the beach and trips to Key West to several art openings.

 

And she took photos, of course.  She sent us a couple...sunsets along the old Flagler Rail bridge and in Key West.
