Volunteers Needed Saturday

Keep the Midlands Beautiful needs help for its community-wide cleanup this Saturday, March 1--at Lake Murray, in town, and points all around.  Here is a list of the projects they’ve set up. 

Keep the Midlands Beautiful will provide latex gloves, garbage bags, and water bottles for volunteers.  If you have questions or want to participate, call 803-733-1139 or e-mail heidi@keepthemidlandsbeautiful.com. 

If you’re a fan of makeover shows, you might want to get involved in the Midlands Makeover Challenge, also kicking off in March.  This competition encourages individuals and groups to give community eyesores a facelift.
