Ree’jeana Kawanus Fletcher | Receptionist

“My mother is always trying to spread more joy and sunshine,” Ree’jeana tells us.  The same can be said of Ree’jeana (whose middle name is her mother’s blend of Katherine and Pocahontas).

She was waiting tables at Garbaldi’s, where she got to know architect Sanders Tate and his wife Donna. “They were looking for a receptionist who had a sunny outlook and Donna suggested, ‘Why don’t you interview Ree’jeana?’”

At Watson Tate Savory, Ree’jeana says a typical day means juggling demands of the 15-member architectural firm “while maintaining a calm façade.”  The surroundings help.

“I am a very visual person, and it makes me much happier to work in a well-designed space.  I mean the day just automatically starts off better.  And in the evening when the sun is setting, it casts the most perfect light and the wood staircase glows.  It is just beautiful.”
