Tuesday already!

If you need a gift idea for this weekend (Mother’s Day is Sunday) or a May birthday (my sister’s, today, so make that a belated birthday gift), then click on over to Katie Runnels’s site, The Constant Gatherer.

Katie, an artist who lives in Newberry, blogs about the work of other artists she likes and occasionally shows a few pieces she’s just completed. 

She has a knack for finding (and making) whimsical items that make me say out loud “I want that.”  Many are available through Etsy or other online shops.

There are also a few shots of Katie’s studio on her blog.  Apparently, she cleaned up before skirt! photographer Molly Harrell arrived, and Katie wanted to document that her space was clutter-free.
