Rhythms & Blooms Tonight

Last Thursday was the first of five concerts at Riverbanks in May. 

Tonight, join skirt! again for live music, local artists, and food & wine samplings, 6-9pm at the Botanical Gardens.

In the rhythms department, tonight’s band is Tough Mama, who on their website (yes that’s toughmama.com) say that they play “a very wide variety of music from folk to Americana, gospel, rock and roll, country and blues.”

As for the blooms, curator of horticulture Andy Cabe says, “The garden is at its peak right now, and we are delighted to share its beauty with the public.”  Also sharing with the public will be featured food & wine retailer Morganelli’s.

 Admission is $7 ($5 for zoo members).  Tickets can be purchased online or onsite.  You can also buy gourmet picnics and drinks from the cash bar.   Park and enter from the West Columbia gate.
