Okay, for one month, let’s call it “He’s So Skirt”.  We turned our profiles over to the guys in July and asked local men to tell us why they’re feminists.  Here’s what Jay says:

“I”m a feminist because of my mother.  I was raised by a very strong woman.  I saw first hand how difficult things can be when it’s one person working against the odds. My mother taught me that determination and hard work transcend gender.”

Jay is a father of one with one on the way.  He creates animation and graphics for films, television, and the web for Constant Now.  He is also a musician and owner of Sunset Tattoos.

Jay was born in Lynchburg, Virgina, and has lived in seven states.  He attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Full Sail University.
