Make that “He’s So Skirt” this month, since we’re featuring men on our profile pages in July. We invited local guys to tell us why they’re feminists. Here’s what we found out:
“I’m a feminist because I believe that when you're on the pitch, it doesn't matter what gender you are but that you play rugby with your heart. I helped establish a women's team because I believe women deserve the opportunity. I coach and support them because I believe in them."
Matthew is president of the Olde Grey Rugby Football Club and helped start the Clemson women’s rugby team and the Columbia Bombshells women’s rugby team.
